Maryland DMV
An empty seat becomes a quiet reminder to drive safe.
The Assignment
Turn the message into a moment.
The concept was simple: someone is waiting for you. My job was to make that absence visible through ordinary moments—a second coffee, an uneaten dinner, an empty seat.
The danger stays offscreen. The people waiting make it real.

The Concept
Someone's waiting for you.
Each vignette is built around the same idea: someone should be here.
A work crew waits. A woman sits alone with two coffees. A family delays dinner. Together they lead to one line:
Be the driver who gets there.
The Boards
Waiting is the story.
The challenge was making stillness feel active. Small behaviors—checking a phone, watching the window, touching a coffee cup, looking toward the door—carry the tension.
Empty chairs and negative space become part of the storytelling.
Coffee
Someone should be sitting across from her.

Dinner
The family is ready. One person is not there.

Work Truck
The empty passenger seat becomes the message.

Visual Storytelling
Build tension without showing danger.
Nothing bad is shown directly. The boards stay with the people who are left wondering why someone is late.
That restraint lets the audience imagine the missing event for itself.

The Result
Make the message felt.
The boards turn a broad safety message into something personal by showing who is waiting for you to come home.
Every idea leads somewhere.
